For Unfair, you ideally want to spec Cassia and Argenta into crowd control/AOE damage (using the Navigator's Eye power and forced enemy movement abilities to position and damage crowds) and Argenta's bolter build for AOE burst damage

Thankfully I only got Dark Souls 1 two months before Dark souls 2 came out. 100%ed DS1 one month prior to DS2 releasing so I got to hurt myself only for a short time in DS1's PvP long enough to realize I hated it and how it was just "Backstab Fish: The Game."

Dark Souls 2 is where I spent most of my PvP time and aside from that blasted shitty netcode and how some people would intentionally abuse it... it was pretty good and honestly allowed the most flexibility for builds.

Scholar of the First Sin only improved everything in general tho the rerelease still seemed mildly silly in my opinion but whatever I guess.

For the Chaos Spawn fight on Unfair, to do it reliably what has worked for me even with a slightly damaged party (and you might have Idira especially go down early in the fight...) is to start by positioning your party for Cross-fire (don't use the small cover at right when the fight starts as it does basically nothing).

Position Argenta and your MC so they can hit AOE burst attacks killing the 2 Cultists to the left and right of Spawn while also doing some damage, try to keep Idira back because she will actually do huge amounts of damage to it if she survives using her warp attack. If you are able to do so, charge Abelard down the stairs left side- you want to kill the cultists ASAP so Spawn doesn't eat them to heal. You can kill about 5 of them on round 1.

After that, keep your party spread out and dodge tank with Abelard if you can

You want Abelard in a position where you can burst the spawn from the sides with your Argenta and MC without hitting him

Depending on what happens round 1, the Spawn's poison spit can't really be avoided, but you might be able to close in on it with Abelard and stop it doing so

Idira's lightning is actually a liability on the Spawn fight due to high corruption, but the scream / shriek attack will chunk the Spawn for 20-30+ hp athe later it gets into fight if you can keep her from being poisoned
