As a Munda fan I'll point out the Haunt is brand new compared to Darktide. And their dialogue implies they werent a known Psyker for most of their Enforcer career (Or at least, it was a tolerated open secret) so its more likely they were a Scrutinator that used Warp powers to solve crimes (Badass btw)

This is true, but the Savant basically confirms they were a beat cop and NOT a specialized Psyker. One that got snatched up later in their career. "The Enforcers wouldnt tolerate me forever" is moreso them being fine with a Psychic detective and not "Ugh I cant believe we have a sanctioned psyker"
