Grilled cheese tip: use good butter on the outside of the bread. Three slices of cheese on the inside: two American, one nice robust strong flavor—a good sharp cheddar is my go to.

The lower melting point of the American means they get gooey fast, and transfer the heat to the flavor cheese in the middle so it gets nice and melted too.

That way it’s all gooey before your bread gets overdone.
