yeah agreed. although the dps of Mk IX (former MG XII) is blatantly lower than the others and by a significant margin, which is compounded by its inherently lower crit potential as a lower RoF weapon. I'm fine with lower crit potential, but at least let it do the same kinda damage output with its more individualistic firing mode.

being able to toggle full auto on semi auto weapons would be nice, like that mod does. infantries are very spam heavy on lmb and i'd prefer to just hold the mouse down and fire continuously. the visual recoil needs to go, it just makes the weapon miserable to use ESPECIALLY when being suppressed

a slight reduction to hipfire spread to increase its hipfire accuracy would be nice. you shoot it a couple of times from the hip rn and it's suddenly going 10m to the left of your target haha.

with the way the game is now it honestly should just have a bit of cleave baked in, enough to shoot through a minor enemy to hit what you really want

it should have more cleave tha recon but less than helbore. i dont now how much cleave helobre has

yeah. i'm thinking if these didn't buff it enough with the current enemy density, non-armoured enemies should be cleaved through by a relatively low value. justify it on the barrel sticking out further than recon and packing more punch per individual shot, idec. just so you can hit priority targets when there's high enemy density, and stand a chance against hordes when you can't pull out your melee

as long as infantry lasgun, the guard poster weapon, is good in the funny guard game, i'm happy

but atm it's falling behind bc it's a relic of release darktide
