Thing with VT2 is that it’s much slower and methodical compared to darktide. You can’t sprint, melee attacks are slower for sure, but if you’re hit it goes straight to HP damage.

Being successful in VT2 needs you to lean into temporary health gained from killing/staying in combat. It’s basically the equivalent of toughness in DT

And proper weapons. I find ammo is so limited that you’re really dependant on melee weapons, so you need to make sure your weapon can really handle just about anything

That’s true, it does speed things up a lot. Especially if you’re on slayer or something with increased attack speed on leap

id also argue there's a lot of bad habits that can transfer from dt into vt2

I dunno, I’m sort of split. I know what you mean, as in your character attacks much faster. I find enemies attack really slow in VT2. Much easier to dodge and what not
