As far as I'm aware they should, they stick to carapace and flak/boss type enemies, though the daemon hosts have a really tiny hitbox and flail about a lot so unless it's attacking you it can be a tad iffy actually hitting it with one

The amount of kraks I've missed because it's twitching all over the place on my screen like someone who had way too many monsters

After you cleanse the plague tree in hab drayko, you have to do this little run to extract and right before the last area you run on a pipe that bends off to the right. The first bend has no railings on either side and enemies just continuously pour down from above right on it - that's where I got cliffhanger

Heard something funny a while back relating the book to its fictional play. That the horror stories are like the book’s first “Act” much like the King in Yellow play’s normal-ish first act. The romance stories on the other hand, are the second act that drives people mad from boredom, rather than being a cognitohazard like the play’s second half.
