I still don't use 'push attacks'. Maybe I should but they feel a bit slow and I never bothered to figure out the button timing to do them reliably

I can say I only do it on my ogryn, all the others it's light attack spam and the occasional heavy swing, with very little blocking. If I actually practiced blocking, I would probably not go down as much as I do. Which on heresy where I play mostly is usually once or twice a round and the occasional death in a hoard of enemies.

I haven't played Ogryn but maybe Ogryn is so tough that you can get away without blocking for a while. As a zealot, I found I needed to learn blocking fairly early to survive hordes heh.
(And later, I think blocking is the only way to survive Daemonhosts if you don't have a shield)

Like with loose cannon specifically one of my friends said they think that the reason theyre so abrasive and cynical is because theyve been traumatised over and over again and so try to keep other people at arms length through gallows humor and being obnoxious, but they care more than they lot on, and i just think its so cool that you can speculate so much on characters that dont even have names

I have a personal theory that, if you can do ok on Heresy (beat more than half your matches, and do ok)... I think you can handle both Damnation and Auric. Because part of the difficulty of Heresy is your teammates. The game gets harder as you go up levels but your teammates get better too. So it's just a theory, maybe wrong, but if you can do Heresy, you can maybe do Auric

DH wreck your stamina so hard so fast that it's difficult to maintain blocking unless you time it stupidly well. Ogryn on the other hand with slab shield can use the secondary mode on it and slam the shield into the ground and basically stand there and laugh.
