Helldivers 2 is very objective focused, you technically don't even need to fight enemies unless the objective is to hold your ground, like in raise the flag missions.

Vermintide 2 is a melee-focused horde shooter, like medieval L4D but with various classes and builds, and humanoid rats and heretics instead of zombies.

Darktide is like Vermintide, but without rats and with A LOT more mobility, and also in the far future.

I use AMR with the regular punisher (or M90A) and a senator against bots.

AMR for big or far away targets, punisher for small bots and up close berserkers and devastators, senator is mostly a back up for killing hulks if I need to reload my AMR and to shoot rockets on reinforced striders, they're kinda small and not so easy to quickly destroy with a shotgun.

I really don't like the duelling sword, it just doesn't work for me. I tried making my own build with it, tried copying a build from a video, either way it was not very fun to use. I tried it on zealot and on veteran and I just didn't enjoy it much. The new parry is a bit more fun than the old super stagger stab tho, I guess.

yeah it doesn't have the cleave; devil's claw is cleave + parry; dueling sword is piercing + cleave. So you need to compensate with your ranged; hence a braced autogun with a dueling weapon and something like a lasgun with devil's claw

higher diff also means adjust your play style

you need to all round it, more than lower diff, i sometimes hit that wall when i like- play arbites, and those usually stand for ages till they get fucked over

maybe unpopular opinion but zealot is my brain-off class for sure. i can autopilot on all but one of my zealot builds whereas my other operatives usually have to have a whole build around cheesing to turn the brain off

psyker is also notably the sort of glass cannon class on darktide in general with a pretty high skill ceiling and not a lot of class-specific reasons to keep one around all the time.

yeah bubbles are just comfy so you still see them, even great players will enjoy a bubble for the quick toughness regen

i like playing bubble with randos because even the inexperienced players will see the bubble up and be drawn to fight in it.

it's kind of my way of non-verbally shot-calling where i want the fight to take place now that i've more than less figured out 100% bubble uptime
