I think TLOU2 portrayed blind rage and karma pretty well, i know a lot of people were pissed that joel died but he literally had it coming to him.. he murdered a hospital full of people and killed abby’s dad, and he got what ultimately was coming to him. And the entire thing with ellie killing off the entire crew but for abby does make sense because she realized at the end of the day it not what joel would’ve wanted, and the meaning behind her losing her two fingers and not being able to play the song joel taught her is quite poetic and sad

I feel Silent Hill games always struggled with combat.

I liked it in SH1 cause the streets were full of pretty fast enemies (dogs, flyers, weird ape things) who constantly chase you and are best avoided, and indoor locations had much slower enemies that you could either fight or sneak past with the flashlight off.

SH2 - most enemies are too slow and also don't have grab attacks so you can literally rub against them to get past them, compared to SH1 where most enemies could grab you and guarantee damage if you weren't careful and bumped into one in the dark, or tried to run past something carelessly.

SH3 has mostly the same issues as 2, in fact it is even easier to run from enemies, except the crawling dudes who knock you down the moment they touch you. Also every single boss fight was "block, attack, repeat", except maybe like the final boss who had some attacks you couldn't block.

SH4 - if you find the taser in the prison, which is like the third location you visit, you can really trivialize combat against most enemies. Not that it's particularly difficult to begin with, but still.

Origin - you could stunlock almost any enemy to death with your fucking fists.
Homecoming - same thing with the knife.
Downpour...idk, I don't remember, last time I tried to play it I got really fucking bored.

SH2 remake - shoot leg, hit with melee, repeat for every enemy.

King's Field 1 is perfectly playable, it's just 5 levels of a dungeon.

King's Field 2 has a lot of cool new things, but man the map is really fucking hard to navigate. The performance is also not great cause it's one big interconnected world with no loading screens, on a fucking PS1.
