the new plasma gunner missions are more difficult one malice than a regular mission on heresy

had one of those vore monsters spawn, then 500 snipers, and then a daemonhost (at the top of some stairs so you wouldnt see it until you were literally touching it) with a plasma gunner captain at the same time

3 of us died within 30 seconds and the psyker was eventually brought down by plasma gunners

all of this within the same area too so everything escalated FAST

I haven't used the combat axe that much so I haven't tried many blessings, but Headtaker seems like a pretty safe choice, just extra strength on hit. Will work for both hordes and single targets.

Also from what I remember, combat axe is kinda heavily reliant on push attacks in horde situations cause I'm pretty sure the push attack will actually cleave through a lot of enemies and obviously just pushing chaff will give you some room to breathe.

The combat axe is mostly a single target weapon, tbf. It does a lot of damage to all armor and unyielding, but struggles with clearing hordes of weak enemies.

Also the blue axe, Antax, is the slowest one cause it has no finesse bonus.
