the other thing with DT is that I can only really get any sort of adrenaline in havoc but havoc is so full of constant audio-visual pollution I end up kinda just going on autopilot and the adrenaline doesn't happen anyway and I get bored and burnt out very fast

Auric/maelstrom I still enjoy for a chill time but again in either mode I can only tolerate small doses because I get bored quickly either way

my job was the kind where you would sometimes come into shift and idk watch movies for 8 hours, or you log in and immediately sit through a 6 hour call

it was sitting down, reading logs, testing, figuring why this wasn't working and replicating and data analysis, it was great

anyhow in the reorganization they got rid of teams like mine

for specifically this suite

and I guess people heard that we'd sometimes not work, including my current bosses

who decided that everyone hired from those teams just doesn't want to work and are lazy and that's why they're quitting

so they treated all of us like shit

and then I broke my arm and went on sick leave for a year

and now, on monday, I'm slated to return, and it's gonna be...interesting, especially after I've had a long time to not just stew over what had happened
