morrowind had polearms and throwing weapons. i think craftable spells were also in oblivion, but skyrim didn't get 'em

i love morrowind. i'm volunteering to help the project to remake it as a mod in skyrim's engine (see my tag if you'd like to know more) while adding all the cool stuff that skyrim didn't have. like polearms, throwing weapons, craftable spells, etc.
we're not including the chance-based combat mechanic though, it's a bit outdated and would be really jank in skyrim
