Focus on VoC + shredder grenades spam. Everything that gives cooldown reduction + grenade regen. Then add the Vet uniques for flavour, plasma + mk6 power sword. You shit out damage in every direction while having lots of toughness and cc for melee safety.

I also think that weapon specialist is a fun keystone to play with, the melee attack speed is strong on psword and then your melee kills put ammo back into your stowed plasma gun mag so you don't have to manually reload

#

But focus fire is also very strong, it's fun to mark a boss for giant bonus dmg or a crusher and then oneshot them with a charged plasma shot

#

Use uncharged plasma shots for anything else, the gun doesn't overheat that way
