so in Vermintide, you're playing a very specific hero with a very specific backstory; so there's more specific camaraderie and relationships between the ubersriek 5 (or 4, doesn't matter). Because of that, as you level, you unlock different jobs, which take an interesting "What if" path of an alternate destiny, both in their past and their future.

To take Bardin, in VT1 he's a ranger, but he used to be an Ironbreaker back in Kazak Dorn, so you unlock that, and he becomes an Engineer. His slayer class is a dark path of "what if"
