I have nearly 1.1k hours in Darktide but stopped playing for about 5 months or so, just came back. I'm still getting the exact same fps problems I had back then, my FPS will constantly drop to 70 then move back up to 120 or higher then right back down... it causes this really annoying jitter in-game. I'm at my wits end, I updated drivers, reinstalled the game, turn all settings to the minimum, set the game in nvidia control panel to prefer maximum performance on power management, I have no mods running at all, I've tried running Darktide as the only program open, tried various DLSS settings(turned it off as well), tried AMDs frame generation as well no change.

The first one or two missions I play after starting the game doesn't have this fps instability and jumping around issue but after that it's everywhere. Happens in the mourningstar, in missions in the meat grinder... the only place where the FPS turns stable again is at the end mission screen. If I change the video settings to windowed the problem goes away but only for a short while before it comes back. Changing to fullscreen again does nothing to fix it.

I'm running a 7950X with 64gb of ram and a 4080 on a 1440p ultrawide... temps are fine no other game gives me issues like this(ram isn't getting maxed out and vram still has a couple of gigs). Does anyone have any recommendations on how to permanently fix this issue?

I don't remember which patch this problem started appearing in but it's made the game nearly unplayable. I apologize in advance if this isn't the place to post this.
