It never goes back that far, or it does and much further if you think of it another way, but there is never a time in Warhammer 40k where there are just orcs, swords, and magic. The timeline for 40k basically starts (usually, from what I always hear anyway) with the Necrotyr trying to find ways to live longer due to having super cancer from their sun. They go to the old ones for any help because they're immortal, and they say no. Necrotyr go to war, they dont do so well, then they meet star parasites known as the C'tan and build metallic bodies for them. They make a deal with the C'tan for immortality and help with the old ones fight, get turned into machines under the control of C'tan, and they annihilate the old ones.

"Clandestium Gloriana" is the worst shitting map that ever has gotten added. ive played it 4 times now today and 4 times i got yeeted into the abyss bei either a teammate or some jackass bomber that didnt make a sound again. is it just me or do others feel the same way?

Barrels have always been the true enemy

Gloriana makes it front and center

Stick to the inner corridors on the right as much as possible at the start of the map and you'll reduce flying off the map mishaps by 50%

you must embrace hiver instincts. stick to the right side & use the tunnel passages.

Also pay attention, the barrels usually spawn in the same spots so if you keep an eye out, you can pop them quickly or get out of their range

you're way more likely to get cornered in that first hallway, but the one after that is mostly fine. the little room up the stairway is amazing and if you're dealing with monsters you can easily door kill them
