Yeah. My experience is that I throw myself into melee, cuz, y'know, Rampage. I get through whole fights at full health. If I get caught slipping even a little, a hit penetrates toughness and chunks health badly. Corruption is costly. A net or a dog? Forget about it. Most of the time I'm dead.

tox on crit is often overrated. it’s more of a comfort node when you run ie bonesaw. anything else is better served with attack speed or just raw damage. carapace and monstrosities are the only targets where that crit tox stack up even does anything worthwhile. and for sample collector kill speed largely offsets the double gain

Yeah this is why I'm torn on the mod. It's great accessibility for the game that would otherwise be impossible to play at a high level for deaf folks. But the point is that even if the audio in the game was perfect. Windows will still put you at a massive disadvantage because of the audio processing latency. And visual stimulation vs audio is incredibly in favor of audio. So you should just use Spidey sense even if you aren't deaf or hard of hearing because it's actually fixing a problem with the game regardless of your disability or lack there of.

It's worth putting +2 stamina on both of them too btw. It's a good 4% attack speed. I tend to run 2 stam Carapace% on my corkscrews but YMMV

I think thats whats good about Spidey Sense though - it pulses in rhythm with the audio sound. You are simply swapping an audio cue for a visual one doing the same thing. Its also not 100% accurate, not tells you if they are above or below you

I would seriously question the validity of Spidey Sense. It allows you to circumvent a lot of situations, such as a Trapper being behind an armour wall and some such situations, which is uhhh. Kinda cheaty considering those situations are a literal RNG check for someone without it

Even with spidey sense, the game regularly has issues with sound priorities and won’t play key sounds for disablers and specials so it’s more dealing with a broken system than cheating.
