It gives you 40% CDR, 20% crit, 20% tdr and gives you 50% toughness every like 15 seconds back

It's really simple TBH.
Zealot is immortal. Vet can spam Shout. Both have broken AF Piss Toughness. Psyker generate toughness while he sleeps. Ogryn is FUCKING Ogryn - 1000 HP, 3000 Toughness. Arby has Castration Stance + True Grit.
In short, most players are used to being Nigh Immortal outside of being disabled by Trapper/Dog or Tossed Out Of Map.
Scum has lots of survivability options, but none are as forgiving as any other class. And it exposed most players to the fact that they never mastered the Mystical Fundamentals. Like the ancient Meme Joke that Vets die to 2 Ragers, because they never learned to Melee.

still more than enough to tackle the highest difficulty

its just 5 seconds, if you have critical nodes you need to take then it's not worth getting 5 secs faster off the base cooldown
Mostly. Poxbursters are slapping us from much further than they should, and that's a factor. That said, yeah a lot of the cases are genuinely a skill issue.

It increases dodge speed, but doesn't increase dodge distance, which means dodges happen faster and thus less i-frames vs ranged, but same distance covered in a shorter time.
However, the dodge linger does apply to melee, which means faster dodges and thus more frequent dodges, on top of "longer i-frames" vs melee.

it's good to remember but sliding around is generally safer
pro tip, doesnt matter if you dont have a needle pistol, as long as you have shivs, just special spam all of your shivs into a boss asap to inflict 18 stacks of toxin immediately before engaging

I still had an old stack that lasts 90 secs despite adding Maxed Out Stim later on.
that made the current stack still run on 90 secs and caps at 3 stacks.
only happens in meat grinder.

I'm still disappointed its default attack speed is like holding a single knife despite having two.

its fixed. they had a hotfix on darktide mod discord when it broke, then later on official fix came out.
I'm using it on Crusher packs mostly, with the odd 15 Shotgunners shielded by 4 Bulwarks as well.

bursters are a bit more punishing on the dodge right now but once you get it you can do it on reflex without really having to think through it
veterans and psykers spend a talent point on a lot of builds for 10% attack speed
