i've always found 60% to be sufficient speed most times
and that gets that litte bit extra resist

especially if you're riding the 80% peril edge and only need to quell around 20% at a time

warp splitting works on all cleave (including your FGS ), so the assail upgrade "ethereal shards" can be passed on for an extra point for that. the soul blaze perks could also be passed on, its generally better used when you've got kinetic flayer active (brain burst subnode). theres a few other suggestions i'd have ofc, but those are two main ones, aside from scriers for more active damage vs shriek for aoe that nems mentioned.

soulblaze has an ownership mechanic, which means first to apply has control of all the stacks. if you shriek on a wall of armour for example, and theres an inferno psyker on your team, that other psyker can stack all they want but they wont be able to kill the armour as efficiently as they would if they had ownership

soul drinker though, if you know youre with inferno psyker, is a node that will benefit you without interfering at all with the inferno's kill efficiency

and, if you're curious what i mean by efficiently kill a wall of armour, i do have a clip from dom i can post and explain

this is doms clip, here he is using is force sword push attack to stack uncanny, which interacts with the soulblaze stacks. the push attack on these swords and FGS is always a weakspot hit (headshot), and has a range of 9 meters, so its also pretty safe to do. this causes the fire to absolutely shred carapace.

if he didnt have ownership, he would have to melee them all, or evade for much longer while maintaining the stacks, or wait for the stacks to all run out then reapply his own

this is why usually in a group, if you have two psykers, you want one on inferno (if theres high enough density), and one on a non-fire build, like rending trauma, or a melee/gun psyker of some sort like bubbleknight or a scrier psyker
