if youre holding smite the entire round and doing nothing else, it CAN do total dmg, but you wont be making any sort of good progress, it will be slow as hell. plus you risk (heavily) your team just leaving you to die, or quitting

My personal pref is x2 tougness and x1 hp if I have +3 stam from talent tree.

I tend to prefer to have an extra +3 stam from either tree or a curio. Most don't take a stam curio.

so if used at 75% peril, it goes to 100 and is a small aoe

For bosses, it shouldn't be your job.

SB then kite away is safer in you have aggro
