One or two devices shouldn't take over a network unless they're acting funky.
Part of the issue is that a packet capture on a laptop is, by default, not going to capture over the air traffic, just what the laptop passed through the NIC.
Windows devices are shitty about wireless captures. I have to use my work Mac or my wlan pi for that purpose, or a Kali VM that I pass an adapter to
So if something weird is happening over the air that the laptop NIC is discarding or can't read, then wireshark won't see it

I dunno mate, I just can't see shit when I'm in an intense fight, lIke all those tiny-weeny cue arks and hints - they could as well not be there. If it's not right arount crosshair, or it's not something that takes half of screen, is red and blinks (preferably) - I don't see it.
So when using Assail I constantly blow myself up, because when I'm able to see high peril visual cues - it's already too late, I've probably already pressed the button one more time than I should have been and will blow up in a second
I need to see them 1-2 clicks before that happens
with Assail's cost 10 peril per click, should be at 80-90%

The problem is uptake. To stay somewhere around 80%, you need to go as high as 100% - then on average I'll be somewhat around 80%. If you make 80% your cellar, your average will be at about 60%, what is suboptimal, as my build has a bunch of talents which benefit from high peril values

Show me a player who is always at 80%+ peril and I will show you a liar, a cheat modder, or an inhuman monstrosity. My best is something like 1/3 of combat time over 80%, and another 1/2 at 60% to 80%.
But a lot of it is practice and getting comfortable with edging peril.

What I mean is, to have higher average, you need to go above that average half the time - that's how averages work. The ceiling is 100%, you can't go higher. But you can go up to that ceiling, with some micromanagement, on regular basis. Then your average during an intense fight will be at about 80%
