Melee psyker forces you to be a better psyker. So much of survivability/effectiveness in this class is understanding how to avoid taking damage while simultaneously doing damage. Melee combat really teaches you spacing, timing, and the pure agony of being barreled or pox bursted by an ally

Yea people do a 3 man tunnel vision on the boss and see the health bar fly down in normal modes and assume they’re doing a lot of that themselves. They don’t make build changes to study the enemy types. They take that to havoc and assume it’ll go just as well the same
