just wanted to say there is legit nothing wrong with "book" on zealot, yes its a different playstyle, but the +30% base damage node that applies to all 4 team mates and lingers for 10 seconds significantly improves overall team dps at the cost of some individual damage. Its also normal to have said book on a 20-25 second cd. At that point thats a significant team impact and has a strong place as a "support" role. You can still bring great boss dps, and even horde clear with flamer.

Iirc and pygex's and zazzy's testing is correct, buffs kinda alternate or bounce around between who buffs SB DoTs and who doesn't. Idk if that is exactly correct but the vibe is there.

It's still best for the blazeaway player to get first app, but not as detrimental as initially thought.

For scoreboard things, if you as the non-inferno player get first SB app you are absolutely cucking the inferno user's damage.

Completely separate, nothing impacts the shield ability. It has 20 health and each impact from a projectile takes away 1 health, but there's a 0.33 second invincibility period after being hit. So if it's being shot constantly it'll always last at a minimum 6.6 seconds
