Yes different. Fading light 3 made shooters even more deadly. Didn't have as many map or modifier options tho. There really weren't things to force player pacing other than boss triggers.

Funny thing about arbites in maelstrom is a game where 3 Arby 1 zealot are the lobby. Two the others go down for whatever reason. I take a wrong turn on the scaffolds and the zealot follows me. We get cornered by every flak/carapace enemy on the map for what feels like five minutes. Straight primary melee nonstop to keep the stagger up. Kill feed going like a type writer. My hand starts to cramp hard

its awesome for aurics and stuff but in havoc 40 youre bringing BB for KF and occasionally brainbursting a sniper

your boss dps is not really important, you should just be stacking it to max SB with inferno then controlling the horde while your 3 team mates focus the boss
