It actually used to be more like old school WoW but it’s just been turned into babbys first MMO over the years for better or worse

Since you can kinda play it mostly as an SP game you kinda lose out on the entire multiplayer aspect of playing an MMO, which just leaves it feeling weird imo

FGS feels much more defensive than offensive in its cadence, and being unable to push without your team can cause issues on auric where you need that bit of extra flexibility in your kit. Not a hard "do this" comment, just what I feel FGS does overall

I would describe it as not hitting a noticable damage breakpoint most of the time, does low dot damage generally, and it does not reliably stun bigger targets either

I also thought of a shield slam into the ground. It would create an AoE that lasts 8 seconds and is roughly the radius of the tk bubble. This slam would dispell the shield, create a short cooldown and add a large amount of peril.

Swing speed is slower, dodge range is shorter and it takes longer to dodge. It has the damage and cleave to clear a path and push no question, but you can then end up in a spot where you cannot swing fast enough to take out a rager or crusher while surrounded, while also being unable to reposition as easily as the dueling sword. Trade off of cleave for speed and dodge, and even then the DS still shreds in cleave too with a bit of set up.

Played one match of shovel/db vet and jesus fuck I forgot how Psyker just literally 2 shots everything

I had knife zealot syndrome where simultaneously I wasn't dying, but neither were the enemies while I did the entire 8 piece objective scan by myself

I swear I had to check the entire fucking chemistry lab because the only living teammate was knife dashing around the room not playing the objective

Went back to psyker and I'm like "wow FGS + assail annihilates the horde, FGS heavies annihilate carapace, and trauma literally stops a wave at the door and tells it NO SOLICITING"

personally disagree, since I really liked using the left click fire on various of Sienna's things in VT2

and they've moved away from making the left click do enough/do interestingly different things in DT

like Sienna had an autofire left click on one of the staves

and a charged left click on a different one

The left clicks would have to be very good and interesting to make me want to use them over the charged attacks, which is the only reason you pick a different staff right now

How I would envision it is that the variant would change the stats, and maybe alter the left click, but leave the charged attack alone

and you could just get more weapon types to have different charged attacks

only one I think is missing from VT2 is the 'lob an arcing explodey ball' one
