Quick question, I found a very similar build but the blessings on the sword where different, it was "Deflector" and "Unstable Power" I guess it is preference at that point.

Wrath is generally the go-to blessing for FGS. Unstable Power is another good blessing. Deflector, however.... the usefulness of it is questionable. It's not a great blessing since it's really just another layer of protection since you can be sliding which will make you immune to ranged anyway, and you'd rather be using a ranged weapon while sliding to do some damage over blocking and doing nothing, but you can use it and it will work if all you want to do is hit things with a sword.

The other problematic aspect of deflector is you also have to be looking at the ranged enemy you want to block, which is... significantly less useful when sliding exists, doesn't require looking at the enemy, and also allows you to attack while doing it. Deflector does give you more aggressive options and the ability to make more positioning errors, though.

As a main-weapon blessing, I wouldn't take it. As a side weapon blessing, I might.

You can definitely have a build that has them and functions, but no build will benefit from them much without actively harming itself by doing things like dumping damage so soulblaze actually does stuff instead of the melee weapon's crits.

Blazing Spirit is a whole lot worse than Souldrinker tho.

Souldrinker you can kinda shrug away since it's only a single talent point if you're in the vicinity. The only problem is all the other soulblaze talents are on the opposite side of the tree, so it's generally not in the vicinity. It also doesn't refresh, and it will sometimes not activate on an actual server (psykhanium will give you incorrect behavior)

and even after all of that, it's only 5% crit and toughness. You get the same amount of crit for free as a small node above KD.

iirc, when I tested it the difference between a 60 warp res and an 80 warp res EK staff is precisely one fully-charged RMB attack going from 0 to 100 peril, and even then only because warp res changes the peril gen just enough that the majority of the extra attack's peril gets cut-off over 100 peril.
