After FGS was released and I played more gunker, especially bistol, I gave VS another shot. FGS was the missing thing for me. The more similar pacing of bistol adjusted my comparison.

So now I've been actually enjoying it. VS, assail, and FGS can all be out for a long time or I can more comfortably things swap around instead of "this one thing is the only answer I have for this problem."

The one cute thing it does is that its electricity is the same as Smite's electricity. So if you poke an enemy with it, they count as electrocuted.

It's a weapon that is more defensive. It kinda staggers and knocks things around (even ragers pretty well) more than outright kills them, but it's pretty safe to use--just underwhelming.

Btw, is Deadly Accurate on the bistol fully bait? I don't usually shoot it, but when I do, I have true shot for assured crits. Does it suffer from that weird calculation thing like critical damage does? Otherwise, I'll just kinda stick with run 'n gun or something
