Psyker builds are generally always critting a lot, that node effectively is "while landing attacks, (crit%) chance to avoid gunfire" on Havoc, since there's usually something shooting at you.

With the inferno staff especially, since you hit a multitude of enemies at once, every enemy counts as it's own individual crit, so you're basically just always dodging shots while attacking.

Just learn to flick smite.

Let’s say you have 60 base toughness

U get 3x +15 toughness nodes from talent

Then havoc has up to -45 toughness

Then u have +5% toughness on all your curios

You would have
(60+15x3-45)(100+5x3)% = 69 toughness total

So you can direct the 'push' effect on the smited targets to knock them off.
