Force sword and GFS pushes are aoe; the push ATTACK is single target up to 9m and can stagger a crusher. The PA only builds peril if it connects with an enemy. It does a small amount of weak spot damage that can trigger KF (kinetic flayer; BB modifier) and explode heads if the mission modifier has that.

Jokes aside, I'm not sure that the damage stat actually matters much for the Inferno staff. I know it can be dumped on the Flamer (it makes fuckall difference and only applies to the first target hit by the flame directly) but I don't know offhand about the staff.

I think the reason we generally lose is just how aggressive and uncohesive Tren and Atlas are, which is nothing against them since Auric teaches that. But my runs without them I notice everyone sticks together so much more and generally at least one person is calling to move backward any time there's a horde.

Because it's not havoc. Also, the shooters and gunner are far less spicy. There are multiple ways to manage ranged enemies, and a lot of people prefer to keep it moving. Also, if a bubble pops and ur out in the open ur sol.
