also SoC is actually really great imo. It soaks so much damage on auric you can carry a much worse team.
Zealot gets enough things to keep himself alive, but literally just handing allies tons of damage reduction on demand is really powerful because it stacks with whatever they already have to stay alive. You can easily take crusher overheads and only have like a third of your health chunked
and that's without added reduction from other nodes like Good Balance
Only problem is if your allies are bad enough it won't matter, lol.

When viewing any weapon, it will show the weapon’s maximum potential stats. These stats will be randomly determined. It’s up to the players to decide if the weapon profile is interesting enough for them to commit and increase the stats until reaching this potential (which are then applied to the weapon through the Expertise system).
Does this mean that we CAN choose to fill things from 0 to cap for each different stats?Answer

Recon 6d is the one everyone is using because of the faster fire rate. Infernus is the most important blessing; dumdum or deathspitter after that. Scrier's gaze really gets the burn doing. Typical gunker build that uses PC, EE, mettle, true aim things.
A note on headhunter. If you're taking true aim, that talent makes it so headhunter isn't doing much because its crit chance stacks are reset on crit.

The mk6 is capable of basically instantly hitting max ignite stacks, but you may also find great success with the mk2.
The mk2 is apparently the one with the best ammo economy.

Takes a while to get used to the Bistol though
You have assail for the occasional horde clear so I guess you're free to choose any melee weapon

Had an Ogryn get lippy because he wasn’t picked up amidst two full hordes of special enemies because his fat hide thought he could meatwall three crushers.
One pickup later and I’m zapping the hordes for the team so they can room clear and he’s telling me to stop doing very much required crowd control at one of the rare chokepoints for the obscura den.
I’m now fully sold that Ogryn players are the most volatile class besides zealot lmao

Smite at chokepoints literally makes it not a chokepoint.
Think about how smite works.
Now if you are running EP smite Flaming Shriek, well then you aren't crowd controlling, you are just killing.
Which is of course acceptable, though some people will find that snoozy.

Anyways, smite has a lot of problems that aren't clear if you don't think about them or play with a smite spammer.
It also tends to draw a lot of "support" players with main character syndrome. Really this game is kinda the perfect example of main character syndrome because there's no inbuilt scoreboard.
Lots of toxic players backseating and complaining about their team that are objectively the worst on the team.
One of the most obvious is smite ruins "stacking" at a chokepoint, because it spreads the enemies out behind the chokepoint.
This can cause issues with cleave damage, like say trauma staff, or cause your melee teammates to move forward into a bad positon.
I'm on the side of play whatever you want, complain about whatever you want too.

Psyker has some of the most effective anti-crusher damage in the game. It seemslike stunning crushers is a good idea, but most of the time, it's not.
