A good option for a perma swap weapon would probably be a force mace/hammer or the force greatsword

Activating it causes slow peril buildup but you deal increased dmg or get bonus cleave or something

Cant vent while using it because you need te cooling down animation, and you obv cant do that with a heavy weapon

Opens up a gimmick where you swap to your blitz to vent i guess, but it forces you to recharge your weapon

Alternatively make it similar to warrior priests holy light bar while in combat

All you really need with heavy sword is special -> h1 cycle for anti armor and lights/heavies for crowd clear based on preference, which works really well on mk9 also
