The emperor gave me this mission reward for persevering after the whole team left (1 really bad wave of dogs caught half the team, and i was fighting 3 crushers alone, and then the kreigsman veteran just said "yeah, screw this" over mic and left, prompting the other 2 to leave as well)

Why BR? I just run assail with trauma. I find it more efficient that way. But then again, to each their own playstyle

last two damnation games lost because there's a literal wall of shooters
like, dregs standing shoulder to shoulder with each other, 20-30 of them and just everyone going down due to attrition and one rushing zealot

unfortunately, not even smite could kill them, i got stunlocked by one of the shooters it missed and then just murdered when the others started shooting due to it

and it was in that map where you start out in a couple of sewer tunnels that lead out to an open area of platforms before an elevator event
so there was basically no cover either

easy peasy lemon squeezy normally since they overpenetrate
this time, nope
and the zealot aggroed basically every shooter between us and the next part of the map

Shield, and then assail them to death. The shield lasts for a few seconds, but it would’ve brought you some time and recovery
