The tube ramp thing that leads upwards towards the valkyrie, there are large areas of railing missing and its a linear corridor essentially. Yeah but, and this was my gripe with long-term play of VT2, you'll eventually start feeling like the majority of the reason you even lose is because of rest of the team, especially when you've just about min-maxed everything you can stat-wise, and you routinely get through Damnation with no issues, it's gonna start feeling like the team is the issue and less you.

It took them a year if i recall and then new problems arose after winds of magic. But V2 had far more gamebreaking problems during the start of its lifespan than Darktide. V2 struggled with slow update and improvement cycle until they started adding the emporium and new classes in the game.

Hey everyone, im curious if anyone had similar issue as me: im attempting "warp battery" several times now on damnation in low engagement zone. Ive been trying my best to do it in empty lobbies with bots, moving very slow and counting time. Im absolutely sure ive kept charge for about 8-9 min at 4 stacks. Penance doesnt require to finish mission, but for some reason the progress doesnt pass 299 seconds, and wont finish the timer, no matter what i do...

I'm using a surge staff and a combat axe, and I kinda feel a little underwhelming against hordes and against bosses

Hordes are more ok: block-attack spam is a nice sweep and, while I wish it killed things faster, I can at least hold a chokepoint and kill stuff. Brutal momentum seems essential here

Bosses are also ok, but mostly i focus on adds

Any advice? Or is this people's experience?

If you want to be useful against hordes, you might benefit from using the purgatus or void staves.

Surge specializes in creating room against elites and specialists, meaning your job in a horde is singling out those guys.

that ones really easy to do on foundry, when your supposed to run out of the tunnel at the end hold by the lift and maintain max charge, its an infinite but manageable supply of poxwalkers so theres always something to BB and very little risk

you may need the 6 stacks talent to actually be able to do the penance, but with all bots or a party thats willing to help you this becomes easy

i was on malice when i did it, i wasn't doing on purpose but i remember not going disconnected, playing without warp charge, the auto pop and getting down way after the 300s mark, it was only accounted when i got down
