Hey all -- wanted to get some opinions. I've been maining Psyker and put in (too many) hours and this week started running some Damnations. It definitely feels like the clutch potential is less as a a Psyker, which makes some sense but I'm trying to find a nice niche/balance point to bring to random groups. I know and can tell the Surge staff seems to be the most effective option. Curious what other kind of builds or primary weapons you've all been finding success with. Purgatus seem very useufl and Voidstrike seems marginal.

But yeah for force sword in a horde do push light heavy repeat, or push light repeat if it's too dangerous. Make sure you dodge and or slide while doing these if you need the safety from them

Psyker has more nuances than other classes, this is why only "good" ones regularly do Damnation. Most Psykers don't know how to utilize our kit so they feel that it performs worse than it really does.

its because alot of stuff were changed over the past few betas

toughness used to 100% block all damage so long as you had any, so preachers were fun times

didn't play the beta but kept an eye on things, guess the psyker was overtuned and the pendulum swung hard the other way

pyskers skill used to remove 100% peril, force sword didnt used to generate peril on block attack and was much wider
