and flak applies to a lot of enemies, and will help ur DOTs if u have any
only enemies with carapace worth thinking about atm are maulers and plasma gunners tbh (twins are there but they go down to melee fast, and crushers don't spawn much now) but both have flak parts so ur not entirely locked onto carapace for dealing with them
