A couple things:

• Uncanny maxed the rending cap of 100% which on most anti-armor moves is mostly wasted due to any rending/brittle above a 1x ADM being 1/4th as effective. So 100% vs. 40% is smaller than expected on stuff that already does a lot of damage to armor.
• Brittle lacks the momentum of a rending buff, you have to build it again on each new target.
• Other players get access to the damage boost of brittle so in certain cases DPS vs. Crushers is actually higher, but that assumes no brittle beforehand and the team focusing targets.

Rending as a buff can be a bit too nutty and it has such an easy proc condition. The rending values it probably would've gotten if it was just nerfed would still call for a redesign of the proc condition anyway.

it used to not scale between tier properly (5% regardless of tier) and applied global str instead of melee str
kuli guide now lists it as not bugged anymore and it's 6% global str

Thunder hammer and evi are zealots class weapons and they feel like a step down from the shared weapon pool.

Im gonna miss being able to go on tears with combat knife because of having to ramp brittleness up per target, but maybe it’ll still feel fine
