Last night i did direct dps comparisons
With no newcanny, using sc deci on the same kinda build I use for db shovel, you can get 1k to 1.2k dps against a crusher with proper attacks
For comparison
Thats about the same as taxe light spam
And its only half of ds4 with shred newcanny with a cara perk (2k dps)
You can get up to 1.8k if you use voc though for a longer stagger duration on shovel

Btw this is with taxe and shovel not having a cara perk

Also the difference between just light spam and just heavy spam isnt that much of a difference, about 700 to 900 dps depending on crits
But thats not using skullcrusher or take a swing

But yeah those shovel changes
Make it pretty okay into armor without uncanny and now you can run other blessing to juice it for other situations too
