the latest party member is a stage theatre kid whos really good at acting, but has the slight problem of his really good performances feeling a little hollow due to the lack of putting himself in the role and just acting it
he suddenly got a huge boost in popularity due to the antagonists articles about him, resulting in him basically getting his career started already, getting offers, having a manager, etc. and the fact that hes quite good looking only exaggerated that
but now hes basically indebted to her not by choice, and she takes full advantage of that

later on in the palace, you find out why his famous actor parents live apart (mom flew back to italy when he was young), and it was because of a scandal created by the antagonist who wrote an article "exposing" an affair she was having (with the proof being an image of a business dinner she had with her manager) which despite her, her manager, and her husband all denying it, spiraled into a widespread harrassment campaign against her, her husband, and even the theatre kid himself despite being like what 7 or something. she fled country to end the harrassment which did work, leaving the family separated and the theatre kid unknowingly learning to play the role of being normal to not cause problems or make anything worse rather than be himself (which is why he struggles to put himself in his roles). all of this and then now that hes grown up to be good looking she's grooming him in a way to keep him indebted to her, its just so fucked up

he's just a generic buffer, light element where his skills give some damage boosts, a little bit of passive healing, ailment resist, and a skill that gives various specialised buffs based on what state of improv he's in (basically you just change what element mode he's in and the buff tends to align with that type, like crits for elec, ailment/dots for fire, etc)
