You can put glyphs into heavy armor that make it act like light armor. It's been some years but I remember running around with the Bear armor and a Rend build that did so much damage in one hit that it broke the Eredin fight (he never went to the next phase and just kept fighting with 0 HP)

the problem for me is that the camera panning is horrid, the target lockon is bad, and the atks geralt throws out are unpredictable at best with long windup and pretty low stagger
