hi i just started playing havoc for real last night, like actually bringing in meta stuff and playing for more than a match or two every couple months. i made it to havoc assignment 30 and am currently using dueling sword bolter but feel that randoms sometimes require the instant save mechanic so i am using chorus and stunstorm grenades. im very stingy with my grenades and only use them if its looking life or death and chorus isnt up for a while. ive found pretty good success, its kind of a mix of damage and support(which i dont even think of as support. its just a couple get out of jail for free cards)

rotten armor is easily the biggest hurdle. i feel pretty comfortable in these games but rotten armor (and large gunner spam rooms) are the biggest issue ive come across. one just requires the use of cover but the other, being rotten armor, is much more difficult for me. i go from easily taking out crushers and maulers and ragers to actually having to give up a lot of space to those crushers because they take at least 4 hits each. i know i cant do everything and there are 3 others that should be able to help me out in games, but is there a better melee to equip to help me in these situations, or is dueling sword my best bet? and if so, do i maybe need to look at dropping chorus to get fury of the faithful in order to help my dps? thanks in advance
