Becoming more deliberate over time is cumulative so eventually you'll get there. You can easily ask around for functional builds and understanding what fundamentally makes stable builds before doing your own thing or how ever you handle all that.

Pick weapons you like, fuck around with what works and what's falling behind then ask around to refine it if you even get support on that end and go from there. Maybe a broad goal of playing strong up to aurics as your metric before tackling havoc if difficulty is your thing.
