Brunt's Armory is for buying tons of low level weapons until you get one with perfect base stats, which you can then upgrade (this process costs a lot of dockets, plasteel, and diamantine if you're new and not sitting on giant piles of those already)

The hourly vendor is for checking every few games to randomly find a good curio or a weapon with perfect base stats

also for shells all are pretty good but Triage in 3's is kinda goated, Recon's base stats are cracked but abilities are a bit underperforming, Destroyer and Thief are really good in their element and have nice movement, Assassin and Vandal are both good in the right hands but have glaring weaknesses in their kit rn.
