I don't play a lot of zealot, so I've only really taken fatmangus build for a spin recently, and that feels pretty good. Every time I see chorus zealot, though, it's always low damage, not surviving well, and not enough chorus to justify that.

chorus relies on your teammates, if they're bad they don't do much with it and if they're too good they don't need it. I find success with making a build that outputs damage just w/ chorus selected works out, it's nice for oh shit moments or dense gunner pushes and you can still kill things.

fr tho I feel like old school ninja zealot is dogshite in h40. Waveclear is awful. Most of the sniping secondaries barely hit breakpoints on specials let alone crushers. Hammer oneshotting is such a minmax that you do almost nothing else. And after all that stealth clutching loses so much value when the spawn rate stays so high that you're rescuing teammates into a blender.
