Something that sucks about 4 compared to nv/3 is that pretty much all of the rpg mechanics are dumbed down. Something like speech checks are basically all tied to charisma. Nv/3 you could have high strength or other stats and get different checks. Also things like terrifying presence are lost.

Also. You wanna keep calm in situations where theres bosses. Trigger stealth only when you're in a short distance. Its easy to waste stealth without the extra time.
