In a manner of speaking, yes but also no. Kruber's sense of faith has always been based in the material reality of his lot in life. Idr if it's ever discussed through grail knight but a fine detail about Kruber is that even though he ends up getting further insulated into Sigmarite whatever institutions, he never abandons his faith to Taal.

His sarcasm and sense of snark against imperial institutions for humans has him mocking what those positions stand for.

He reduces Mercenary as just being another dude who happens to have stayed alive, constantly shadowed by the guilt he takes on from his family's deaths. Huntsman is more about him more intently embracing Taal as he always has, but actually returning to enriching the type of time he was always on originally from his upbringing but tailoring it to a sort of more serious direction with how he slots it against the Endtimes conflict at hand. Can't remember everything, but he doesn't really respect the station of foot knight and treats it like a morbid concession to his sense of character while still focusing far more on his actual goals. He makes fun of grail knight shit and performs a sort of self-parody and even satire towards the tenets of Bretonnian knighthood while also being extremely ignorant to the divine intrigue at hand.
