Honestly I've seen more pug groups fall to burster, bomber, flamethrower spam than crushers or ragers though. In the wrong map section it can be very hard to manage. Well placed sniper swarms with good cross fire and hard to hit positions in large open areas too.

My preferred way to play is with relic blade and bolt gun. Use knife to kill specials. Use bolt gun on carapace and monsters.
