If you want to 1shot monstrosities shroudfield is generally the way to go. That said fury of the faithful is still fantastic, and honestly its better overall utility. Shroudfields big advantage is dropping aggro. Fury of the faithful makes bosses like 2-3 shot but you get 2 charges, and it has more utility by giving you distance and toughness.

shroud causes enemies to instantly go into a passive state for 1 second and ignore you for the remaining 4 seconds going after other teammates
do use unfaltering with thammer because otherwise youll whiff alot of the backstabs because of bosses running towards teammates
