Sup, not sure how many people here use throwing knives (I don't like them personally) but I do think they could benefit from the ability to hold them without instantly throwing them. Not in a sense where they become like normal nades, needing to be slowly pulled out.
So how I think it would work better-ish:
Press hotkey - instant throw like right now
Hold hotkey - your character pulls one out and throws when the hotkey is released, letting someone aim, maybe even give an aim indicator like grenades get

Almost all of the surge2s difficulty comes from fighting one guy and having 3 more suddenly appear to stunlock you

I dunno, when i got used to it, it didn't seem too bad since theres ways to pull and separate. I could see it being infuriating for some. The difficulty should definitely shift to actual movesets and attack patterns to navigate rather than 4 stacks of dudes

My main issue with soulslikes is how they almost always just make it hard by having a bunch of 1v10s like if there was reasonable enemy dispersion it'd be a cakewalk
The best soulslike I've played to date is actually Mortal Shell
Not including yk ds3 or bloodborne
