You gotta like, kind of just not know better to cook up a build that shits itself entirely.

As in, not reading jack shit or something.

Or having incompatible weapons within a build.

But if you got fundamentals that really need to be checked, cata can expose those gaps when they're big enough

It's a mix. It's technically a dmg increase if you're hitting all 4 pellets. The headshot multiplier is per projectile as well, so you can damn near toast someone in 1 shot technically

so, it does work. However, using it to start the mission seem to completely break the enemy sound ques of the game, and the map becomes pretty much unplayable.

However good luck doing that. The only way for the spread to be manageable enough for that is to crouch and be stationary or nearly stationary

Typically you're bringing an anvil for good dmg at range, splitter kinda shits on that. Maybe for your Stella montis runs if you're feeling spicy.

Side note- Force is also applied per bullet. Shooting a drone with all 4 bullets can send it careening in a direction. Funny to shoot them into walls.

Plus, as someone said, block canceling is a little more specific in terms of where it's going to be at its most useful. Not every weapon nor the majority of weapons are going to need to rely on it since dt is much more heavy on the ease of application for optimal combo loops and routes.

netrunner was my day 1 release character build and then I also did one in 2.0

I ran kherezikov, had enough points in brawn to make gorilla arms stunlock with passable dmg, took stealth perks to make minor qol changes, went hard into og cold blood and then everything else in quickhacks/engineering for bonuses to chrome options.

Instead of just sitting back with hacks loading and bouncing, I'd play aggressively in cqc with five0 for ranged big threats while leveraging kerezikhov slow mo dodges on ads and the general slow mo on quickhacks mode.

Most of my chrome was more quickhack efficiency so I had to rely on two slowdown options and things popping off in time for real time combat.
