On table 2 they found out that killer was a Red Thirsted out BA who proceeded to slaughter every warband and then escape into the sewers

sometimes critical failures are critical successes in disguise. Alright so, once upon a time when I was first getting into RPG's we were playing Black Crusade. Group comp isn't super important outside the fact I was a Plague Marine and we had a TS Psyker with their funny automaton.

The TS Psyker sent their automaton off to go gather something i don't even remember which turned into a police brawl, which turned into a hive brawl while we made our way to it.

As the corpses piled up, the psyker started casting and on their first cast hit red rains. Now we were all new and didn't know what that meant, so they kept casting. Eventually the perils led to warp rifts opening which led to daemons flooding into the streets, which led to us fleeing into a bunker to hide after I plagued the local water supply to add fuel to the fire.

We come out of the bunker a week later to see that the world has infact fallen to chaos and we ruined 2 months of planned mad max adventures for the DM.
